TAKESI INCA TRAIL
3 DAYS/ 2 NIGHTS

DAY 1

Departure and land transportation to San Francisco Mine (about 2 hour trip).Ascending to the mountain pass (4650 Mt. over sea level).
Trek of 6 hours.
Camp and overnight.

DAY 2

Trek to Kakapi. The weather is sub tropical and there is a wide variety of vegetation which allows to appreciate different ecological floors and rivers that descend.
Lunch at Kakapi.
By afternoon, descend until arrive in at Pongo population (6 hours of trek)
Camp and overnight.

DAY 3

Trek of 5 hours, on route visit to the mining cooperatives at Chojlla mine.
Continue to Yanacachi population. This place maintains the colonial constructions and was the first to be founded in Yungas by Spanish people.
Lunch.
Return to La Paz.
