Alcira Tacana Native Eco Lodge is located adjacent to Madidi
National Park, on Tacana Native Territory. The Madidi National
Park has a great diversity of flora with 5000 to 6000 esteemed
species and 733 fauna species. National Geographic identified
this area as one with most bio-diversity in the world.
"The Tacana native community
wishes to recover it's ancient culture, preserve their traditions
and way of life, care-take and preserve the environment and improve
their standard of living for the benefit of their children.
The Eco Lodge has 6 comfortable
cabins with 2 to 4 people capacity per cabin. Cabins are located
next to the dwellings of the Tacana people. Cabins are built with
momoqui timbers and jatata roof, protected with wire mesh for
tourist comfort, equipped with single beds with mosquito netting,
table, chairs and hammocks
